Unfasten straps, open liner, remove pads located inside boot and set aside.\u003cbr\u003e2. While seated, place leg in brace and position heel at the back of the walker. Brace uprights should fall mid-line with the ankle.\u003cbr\u003e3. Wrap liner around the leg and foot ensuring the large ankle pad is positioned over the top of the foot. Secure hook to the liner.\u003cbr\u003e4. Position the uprights parallel to the leg per healthcare provider’s recommendation.\u003cbr\u003e5. Remove plastic sleeves from the uprights to expose hook.\u003cbr\u003e6. Press hook on inside of the upright to the liner.\u003cbr\u003e7. Beginning with the toe strap, thread straps through links and work up the leg by securing each strap.\u003cbr\u003e8. Fasten closure straps until all are secured to ensure the liner and uprights don’t migrate. NOTE: Pads may be inserted at either side of the ankle or at heel for additional comfort. NOTE: Liner and strap adjustment may be necessary as swelling patterns change throughout.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003eRANGE OF MOTION (ROM) JOINT APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003eROM joint can be fixed between 45° of dorsiflexion and 45° of plantarflexion by increments of 7.5°.\u003cbr\u003e1. To obtain desired position, loosen hex screw.\u003cbr\u003e2. Pull out pins, adjust dial to position, and place the pins in desired slots.\u003cbr\u003e3.
